POTENSI KAMILA™ TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN PENYAKIT GANODERMA
Kajian saintifik melaporkan nutrien-nutrien mikro terpilih bukan sahaja meningkatkan hasil berat tandan segar (BTS) tetapi juga boleh meningkatkan kandungan lignin dalam pokok sawit. Dalam tanaman, lignin terdapat disekeliling dinding sel xylem. Lignin akan menambahkan kekuatan mekanikal pada dinding sel dan bertindak sebagai perisai bagi mengurangkan serangan kulat terhadap tanaman.
Nutrien mikro terpilih yang terdapat dalam baja KAMILA™ berupaya meningkatkan proses biosintesis lignin dalam tanaman serta berpotensi mengurangkan serangan ganoderma. Kesan yang jelas akan hanya diperolehi jika baja KAMILA™ digunakan secara berterusan bagi pembentukan bahan lignin yang sempurna dalam batang dan akar pokok sawit supaya dapat mengawal bahagian ini dari diserang kulat dan penyakit.PERLEPASAN NUTRIEN SECARA TERKAWAL
Kebanyakan baja NPK yang digunakan di ladang sawit sering mengalami kehilangan nutrien yang serius dan boleh mencapai melebihi 60% dalam keadaan hujan yang lebat (>34mm) dalam masa 2-3 hari. Ini akan menyebabkan pokok tidak dapat menyerap sepenuhnya baja yang dibekalkan kerana hilang dan mengakibatkan hasil yang rendah walaupun pokok telah dibaja.
Keistimewaan teknologi baja KAMILA™ ini adalah kerana ianya larut dalam air secara terkawal di mana nutrien dilepaskan kepada akar dalam tempoh 1-2 bulan serta mengikut keperluan fisiologi pokok sawit bagi memberi masa yang cukup untuk akar mengambil nutrien secara efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan Teknologi Agglomerasi Polimer dari Jerman berupaya mengurangkan proses larutlesap dan kehilangan nutrient akibat larian permukaan kerana baja ini bersaiz besar serta disaluti oleh jaringan polimer bersifat "hydrophobic" (nyah air) yang melarutkan nutrien-nutrien secara terkawal.
Baja KAMILA™ ini berbentuk oval atau nuget dikeluarkan dalam bentuk dua saiz iaitu 8g dan 15g bagi kegunaan tanah mineral dan tanah gambut.
Ketulan baja KAMILA™ mengandungi nutrien yang disaluti oleh jaringan polimer hidropobik supaya nutrien-nutrien ini dapat dilepaskan ke dalam tanah secara perlahan sehingga 2 bulan.

CARA PENGGUNAAN BAJA KAMILA™
POKOK 1 TAHUN
Tanamkan baja KAMILA™ sebanyak 0.4 kg ini ke dalam lubang pokok sewaktu kerja-kerja pemindahan anak sawit ke ladang dilakukan. Selepas 4 bulan pemindahan ke ladang, taburkan 0.4 kg baja KAMILA™ bagi setiap pokok di bawah kanopi pokok sawit. Selepas 8 bulan pemindahan taburkan 0.4 kg lagi baja KAMILA™ di sekeliling kanopi pokok sawit.
POKOK 2-5 TAHUN
Taburkan baja KAMILA™ di sekeliling bawah kanopi pokok sawit bagi kawasan yang rata atau landai mengikut kadar yang disyorkan. Jika kawasan itu berbukit dan curam, membaja hendaklah dilakukan dengan membuat 4 lubang dan agihkan baja KAMILA™ sama rata ke dalam setiap lubang. Kaedah menanam ini akan memberi kesan yang lebih efektif dengan memberi jangka hayat baja KAMILA™ sehingga 2-3 bulan dalam tanah bagi kawasan berbukit dan curam.
POKOK 6 TAHUN KE ATAS
Membaja boleh dilakukan dengan menabur baja KAMILA™ di atas lorong timbunan pelepah (frond stacking) bagi kawasan yang rata atau landai. Jika kawasan itu berbukit dan curam, membaja hendaklah dilakukan dengan membuat 4 lubang dan agihkan baja KAMILA™ sama rata ke dalam setiap lubang. Kaedah menanam ini akan memberi kesan yang lebih efektif dengan memberi jangka hayat baja KAMILA™ sehingga 2-3 bulan di dalam tanah.

Kamila, a truly controlled-release fertilizer recently launched in Malaysia. It is the only of its kind that comes with complete macro and micro nutrients available in Malaysian market. KAMILA is specially formulated for the oil palm plantation industry to enhance the FFB yield and better protects the palm from many fungal diseases. Our six years research with the RISDA estate in Palong demonstrated that KAMILA CRF formulation is not only reducing the fertilizer cost to about 20-30% but also able to increase the oil palm yield to more than 25%. AJIB NPK
It is a complete crystalline mixture fertilizer (10% N, 5% P2O5, 17% K2O, 2% MgO, + 7.5% AJIB) with high micronutrient content. This fertilizer has been specially formulated fertilizer to meet the requirement of for oil ajibnpkpalm and fruit tress. All important micronutrient are readily available form. Intensive crops with high yield are extremely demanding for available macro- and micro nutrient. Though, plant required micronutrient in a very small quantity but important and crucial for most metabolic functions which ultimately the one that determine the yield.
AJIB®
AJIB® is crystalline water soluble fertilizer fortified with Enzyme Activators specially formulated to enhance ajibthe pollen viability and formation of female flowers (bunches) for oil palm. AJIB® also contains vital micronutrients and selected macro elements to meet the specific requirement of oil palm grown in tropical soils. Some of the advantages of AJIB® are as follows:

VITA-GROW®
VITA-GROW® is a foliar fertilizer that contains complete and balanced plant nutrients. It is also enriched with plant growth regulators, non-ionic adjuvant and organically bound micronutrients, which are stable upon storage or when mixing with most pesticide. Foliar application of VITA-GROW® provides the most rapid utilization of nutrients and permits the correction of observed deficiencies in less time than by topsoil treatment especially during the critical growth stages. It is also an excellent supplement to soil applications.
Many years of research at UPM have shown that VITA-GROW® increased plant yield and enhance produce quality. The findings on positive yield response on rice have been observed by many government agencies and individual farmers throughout Malaysia. In 2002, Malaysian Agriculture Research and Development Institute (MARDI) had recommended the usage of VITA-GROW® in rice production and also acknowledged the quality of VITA-GROW® exceeded the “Australian NST Standards” (MARDI Project No: NP 0090/10).vg
In plant producing excessive leaves due to nutrients imbalances, application of VITA-GROW® is able to stimulate or induce flowering and leading to better fruit setting. Application of VITA-GROW® has also shown to prevent the shedding of flowers and buds. Scientific reports have shown that when plant enters the reproductive stage, the absorption capacity of nutrients by its root is limited. At this stage, spraying the plant with VITA-GROW® has shown to increase yield significantly, possibly due to better nutrients balance and resulted the movement of nutrients from the source (leaves and roots) to the sink (reproductive parts). VITA-GROW® has been in the market since March 2000, and has been the recipient of the Invention and Competition Award by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment of Malaysia, July 2001.
ROBUST
Robust is high calcium foliar fertilizer specially formulated for quality paddy seeds and fruit trees. Applications of Robust stimulate better cell wall and bio-membrane formation stability and also initiate an important process called lignification. Lignin adds significant mechanical strength to cell walls and reduces the susceptibility of the walls attack by pathogen. Calcium is essential for the stability of bio-membranes. Calcium polygalactronates are required in the middle lamella for the cell wall stability. Hence fruity crops applied with ROBUST not only improved better storage quality but also increased fruit sweetness due to enhance photosynthetic rate from absorption of micronutrients present in it.
ZAPPA
ZAPPA or “Zap Padi Angin” is specially formulated as paddy seed treatment to enhance rapid seed germination for direct seeding rice grown under aerobic and anaerobic systems. ZAPPA® PLUS treated paddy seeds increased the root and shoot growth. Paddy seeds treated with active oxygen in ZAPPA® PLUSwere able to grow vigorously under anaerobic direct seeding (about 5 cm water depth), thereby, delayed or suffocated the untreated weedy rice seeds present in the soil. MARDI researchers in Tg. Karang and Bertam had also evaluated effectiveness of ZAPPA® PLUS for seed germination and the control of the paddy angin. The result showed that seeds treated with ZAPPA® PLUSwere able to grow at 5 and 15 cm of water depth. Others benefits of using ZAPPA® PLUS wezappare:
i) reduce weeds problem
ii) reduce rat attack because of standing water
iii) conserved water usage (water was not removed after plowing)
iv) reduce seed borne diseases
v) increase seed purity
Since March 2001, about 75,000 liters of ZAPPA® PLUS were sold. Many farmers had accepted ZAPPA® PLUS for both the aerobic and anaerobic direct seeding due to it effects on seedling vigor that helps to compete with the weeds growth. ZAPPA® PLUS had received 3 awards, Gold Medal for Invention & Research Exhibition Awards 2002, UPM, Silver Medal for Invention and Innovation Exhibition, Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Malaysia, 2002, and Silver Medal from the 32nd International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products at Geneva, 2004
